Climbing on Lumpy Ridge
Mark had a suggestion for how this trip report should go, so I’ll try to stay as true to his idea as I can. There are a few photos from the day in the gallery.
We went to Lumpy Ridge. It was cold and windy, and we were the only ones there when we left the car at 10:30a.
We walked a long time. The trail was covered in sh!t.
We climbed the first two pitches of Magical Chrome-Plated Semi-Automatic Enima Syringe. It was windy. There was snow and ice on the rocks.
When we walked off, it started snowing. The sun went away. We hiked home.
You guys are crazy! More power to you, it’s still a little too cold for me up there. This was a climb I was going to recommend for you guys; I haven’t gotten up on it yet. Did you enjoy it?
Yeah, it was fun. I wish we’d been able to finish, but the weather was not going to cooperate. I think you might win this year, Matt. Mark wants to do some big climbs up in the Park, and Lumpy is perfect training ground! If we can find the climbs…
i’ve only ever made it up the first two pitches of enema syringe myself. fun though. very brave going up there in sprinter. or maybe just delusional?
